XDJ-AZ: Rekordbox (Link Export) With One Computer

Setup Guide

Typical Setup
  • You're using one computer for streaming.
  • Your tracks are exported to a USB stick that is inserted into the XDJ-AZ.
  • Your XDJ-AZ is connected to your LAN using an ethernet cable or WiFi network. (Ethernet is recommended)
  • The audio output of the XDJ-AZ is connected to your computer's audio interface.
How to Setup Now Playing
  1. Export your music onto a USB stick using Rekordbox.
  2. Connect the XDJ-AZ to your network using an ethernet cable or wireless.
  3. Install and setup Now Playing on your streaming computer.
How to Stream With Now Playing
  1. Turn on your XDJ-AZ first.

    (Make sure it has a network connection to your LAN. (A globe icon on the XDJ-AZ's screen means it's connected to your network.)
  2. Open Rekordbox and select "Export mode".
  3. Click the LINK button
    (This connects Rekordbox to your network)
  4. Open Now Playing.
    (It should auto-detect Pioneer ProDJ-Link)
  5. Now Playing should now work when you play tracks from your USB stick.
