XDJ-AZ: Rekordbox (Link Export) With Two Computers
Setup Guide
Typical Setup
You're using two computers: One for streaming and one for music.
Your tracks are being played directly from your Rekordbox library on your music computer.
Your XDJ-AZ is connected to your LAN using an ethernet cable or WiFi network. (Ethernet is recommended)
The audio output of the XDJ-AZ is connected to your computer's audio interface.
How to Setup Now Playing
Install and setup Now Playing on your streaming computer.
Connect the XDJ-AZ to your network using an ethernet cable or wireless.
How to Stream With Now Playing
Turn on your XDJ-AZ first. (Make sure it has a network connection to your LAN. (A globe icon on the XDJ-AZ's screen means it's connected to your network.)
Open Rekordbox on your music computer
Select "Export mode"
Click the LINK button. (This connects Rekordbox to your network)
Open Now Playing on your streaming computer. (It should auto-detect Pioneer ProDJ-Link)
Now Playing should now work when you play tracks directly from Rekordbox.
